Friends of New Milford

Friends of New Milford

Friends of New Milford, Inc. was founded in 1998.  Its establishment provided the means for developmental services that have enriched the lives of three unique individuals.

As of today, we along with our individuals have grown in experience.  In accordance with all Connecticut state mandated regulations, our care providers not only deliver quality services, but also add a personalized feel that results in a trustworthy and meaningful (if not critical) aspect of human care. With an increase in the number of programs we support including those with Autism, our agency's commitment to our mission statement shows consistency in that quality we take pride in.  Our caregivers practice respect, dignity and compassion.  We strongly encourage our individuals to pursue their dreams and interests in both vocational and recreational settings.  As a result of careful coordination with our entire team inside and out of the agency, our therapeutic atmosphere provides the best possible opportunities and experiences for all to thrive within.
