EVENT POSTPONED! West Hartford/Farmington Valley Families for Families Kick Off: Funding Presentation & Dance

We have decided to postpone this event until the Fall, because so many families have told us that they would love to attend but they will be on vacation or away at camp. If you are interested in attending the event in the Fall, please scroll down and fill out the RSVP information. We will notify you once we have rescheduled.

Parents & caregivers of teens and adults with intellectual developmental disabilities (I/DD), bring your sons, daughters. loved ones friends for an inclusive night of fun & dancing while you attend “Understanding Funding for People with I/DD” an informative presentation about funding that will include:

>>Basic facts about how Medicaid, the primary funding source for adult services, impacts funding, choices and options
>>Challenges that make funding for adult services uncertain
>>Guidance on how to use this information to advocate for your loved ones and to create more choice & opportunity for all adults with I/DD.
