If you or your loved one is looking for greater choice and individualization of supports and goals, increased flexibility with hours, and more robust planning to achieve your dreams, accessing programs in other parts of the state’s adult services through self-direction may get you closer to your goals. This presentation will explain the evolution of self-direction, the advantages and responsibilities of self-directing, and a step-by-step process of getting started self-directing your services.

This presentation is sponsored by the Connecticut Council on Developmental Disabilities.

Speakers: Win Evarts and Mary Lou Freitas, The Arc of Connecticut, Inc.
