Write An Orange Letter

HELP US Put a face to the cuts!

As a parent of a young man with I/DD, I’m worried that the current budget impasse will have a significant impact on his life.  “Write an Orange Letter” is a campaign designed to show legislators the faces of people with IDD and their families that rely on community based supports to live, work and fully participate in the communities they represent.  Family or individual photos that we receive will be printed with orange borders and physically delivered to legislators.  The photo will appear at the top of the page and the text below will appear underneath.

People with I/DD need a budget NOW that includes funding for:

  • Employment Opportunities and Day Services for all including new graduates
  • Community First Choice
  • Waiting List initiatives
  • Behavioral Services Program to keep families together

Please fill out the form below with information and pictures (family or individual).  By sending in a photo, you agree to allow us to use it.

Thank you for joining us in writing an Orange Letter and advocating for people with I/DD!
