For parents and caregivers of teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) who are currently receiving or will be seeking services through the Department of Developmental Services (DDS).
Some questions that will be answered:
If an individual applies for unemployment benefits during this shelter in place pandemic, will it affect their benefits eligibility (SSI, Medicaid, rent subsidy, SNAP)?
Are there ways to manage the potentially higher income stream from unemployment benefits and maintain benefits?
